1.Where do you see the company in the next five years and how will you bring about the change?

In next years we will be No 1 Fleet Management and Telematics software provider in terms of the number of countries we have penetrated. More than turnover, my wish to reach every country in this world. We will bring this change by being original & innovative and by creating value to the customers.

2.What is the biggest challenge of being a CEO and how do you overcome it?

Corona is my biggest challenge. At the same time, Corona is the biggest gift in my entrepreneurial life. Corona gave us space and time to reinvent ourselves.

3.What is your approach to making salient decisions for the company?

We avoid making short term decisions. Even if its tough, we will choose what will work in long term. And I never afraid to accept mistakes. Only if we accept our mistakes open-heartedly we can head towards right direction

4. Did you ever feel like giving up on being a CEO and what motivated you to pull this off?

I think I haven't achieved anything in my life. Though we have received some awards, a successful company with million-dollar turnover, but it’s nothing when compared to other achievements. Once we cross 100 million dollars turn over I can think about answering this question directly.

5. Describe your biggest achievement

In recent times, I feel the Driver app I designed is my personal achievement. I want our product (FleetOS) to reach the entire world, all 193 countries in this world. For that biggest hurdle is language and literacy rates. In this world, there 7000++ languages, of that 3500 languages are proper scripts. Literacy rate varies from country to country. People who chose the driving profession are predominantly school dropouts. So our app should be "driver-friendly", just not "user-friendly". So I designed the app like a card game without a single word in the app. It came out very well.

6.What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Playing TT, carrom, watching movies & cricket. I am big fan of movies & music. Language doesn't matter to me.

7.What inspired you to work on fleet?

Though it’s accidental, I enjoy it because of the challenges in this business. Running a truck business, living the life of a driver is truly challenging. Hope we will bring in great change.

8.Tell us some of your failures

GPSVTS is our successful flagship product, but every year we tried create something new apart from GPS. For instance, we tried to develop "people counter software and hardware using OpenCV and stereo vision camera", we failed. Like this, we tried creating 5 different products and we failed. Though we have failed, still all those products has great market relevance. Just we couldn't pull it off for some reasons.

9.What is the role of your family in your successful career?

My wife, my brother are my first investors. So I am greatly indebted to them. More than myself they have great confidence in me.

10.What is your message to the young generations and to their parents?

Never follow anyone, just be yourself. If life is an exam, everyone gets different questions, so copying from others will not help.
