And so to supply this demand, Coach Kenaa Company was found. Q. What is the biggest challenge of being a CEO and how do you overcome it ?
A. The biggest challenge that I faced was seeking team members who would understand the depth of the company requirements and work together with the vision. To overcome this challenge, I personally met numerous candidates, understood their mindset, went across few interviews and finally ended with a team who now works dedicatedly while considering the company as their own.
Q. Where do you see the company in next five years and how will you bring about the change ?
In next 5 years, the vision is to establish 4 offices across Gujarat, where various trainings are provided to individuals from college to MNC employees and employers. The strength of mindset is still unknown to masses, and we focus on developing that as the core identity. Since inception of the company in 2020, we have trained more then 400 individuals across India and various other countries through online workshops and trainings and we look forward to do the same over the years.
Q. Did you ever feel like giving up on being a CEO and what motivated you to pull this off ?
Giving up on being a CEO was never a thought. Yes, I doubted my decisions at times, but at the same time I would recollect the reason behind my various decisions. With that thought in mind, I would get self-motivated. Individually, I believe that it’s good to doubt yourself. It often gives us a new perspective to any situation.
Q. Describe your biggest achievement
From April 2020, We made our contact details on various social media platforms open to the world for counselling for mental health awareness and skill development during the pandemic without any fees. This way we could upgrade and help over 289 individuals till date. And was also awarded as ‘ Excellence in Corporate Training’ in July 2020 by WEAA for the service.
Q. From where you get the idea for business ?
While working part-time in Bangalore as Corporate Anchor, I overheard a company manager discussing with his Superiors about how the lack of performance in results was due to under-skilled team. Again, while working as Centre-coordinator for a pre-school, I realised how difficult it was to find skilled staff. And so I started working on this loop-hole and established my business. Also, while interacting with College students for their project, they looked up to me for my mentorship even after the project completed.
Q. What was your aim to start the company?
The main Aim was to enhance Intelligence and skills in individuals which is unique for everyone. And as Indians get more digital, we aim to increase leadership qualities on individual level.
Q. Tell us some of your failures
4 years back I started my footwear and bags manufacturing company. Having less knowledge about manufacturing industry and also the travel challenges between Surat and Mumbai led me to make few mistakes. Here I realised how important networking, branding and strategizing is for a startup to florish.
Q. What is the role of your family in your successful career ?
My parents are the ones who sowed the seeds of growth mindset since childhood. They made sure that I face challenges upfront. So no matter what challenge I took, I knew I could always face it. With the launch of my company to taking care of my son while I worked, my parents and my brother-sister always supported and believed in me even when I doubted at times.
Q. What is your message to the young generation and their parents
No matter what idea you have for business, there is always a scope of success if you work consistently on it. The world is changing rapidly and there is a demand for something new that can change the normal. SO to the young generation, make sure you follow your dreams and find that right mentor who can guide you. And to the Parents of the Z-generation, break the thought of living in comfort zone because success was never achieved from there. Support your child’s dreams. Guide them. Let them explore in youth.
It's a best and proud of you
