1. Describe about your Business and founders
HIEE - India’s one of the First “Finishing School” for Electrical Engineers established in the year 2010 by me. The thought of which was ignited during the earlier years of my industrial experience in various countries and interaction with the Global leaders their view about the integrated education system and the benefits of the same in the work force and hence productivity. This thought was to be implemented but the education system was otherwise in a different mode and needed a strong muscle in all aspects, and hence thought the best we can do to make it happen was by establishing an Empowering institute to harness the skill of the desired with otherwise not many options.
2. What is the biggest challenge of being a Managing Director and how do you overcome it?
I believe that best minds deliver the most & how they maneuver in the most challenging situations, and my firm belief is in the thing that works is “TEAM”, I have immense faith in my Team who have shared my passion for work and raised up to the occasion every time as together we had/ do overcome such challenges every time.
Educating the Students, their parents and even the guides to understand the needs of the core segment industry was not the least, which also had to be addressed apart from what other industries do.
3. Where do you see the company in the next five years and how will you bring about the change?
HIEE would be the destination Finishing School & hope for the engineers aspiring to pursue in the Core segments of engineering (EEE/MECH/CIV), as we have observed that the number of establishments/ colleges have increased enormously and the last mile connectivity from the academics to the industry goes astray in their list of things to do – and we would like to enhance and work on our strengths by filling the gap. As this kind of education would see no boundaries we would be seen across and would be the benchmarks in this arena.
4. Did you ever feel like giving up on being a CEO and what motivated you to pull this off?
As mentioned earlier I am driven by my Passion and it helps me to pass through and find the solutions with the help of the like minded Team. Giving up is no option, if I do not lead by it I don’t see I would be able to empower.
5. Describe your biggest achievement
Today we can say most of the Core sector companies have our guys in there at some level or the other, our achievement is directly proportional to the success our candidates get, as we are glad we could be their first stepping stone for their success.
6. From where you got the idea for business?
As mentioned earlier that the opportunities I got in the Core Electrical industry was not a rosy picture either in my peers or family, but my passion was to be in the core segment. I do not like to mention that how relevant was the job others opted for after the formal professional education, but took that as a challenge and the opportunities that have come to me by doing so have given me the chance to travel across various geographies, the insight of such exposure fuelled my passion is the birth of HIEE
7. What was your aim to start the company?
The aim was to provide an elevated platform for the core engineering graduates, and help them support their decision by showing the right career path for them to achieve the prefect balance in work & life.
8. Tell us some of your failures.
Every step we face challenges and maneuver ourselves to help us stand up again. It comes most of the times with the expectations of the candidates/ organizations/ people.
9. What is the role of your family in your successful career?
The support of it if there it gives us the strength to win the world and am fortunate to have one such family. Our team is our family too
10. What is your message to the young generations and to their parents?
Make your Passion into your Profession - simply understand the reality, acquire knowledge and have result oriented focus.
