1. Describe about your Business and founders?
We majorly deal in International Food Brand Franchising, in simple words, we as a company acquire master franchise rights for India’s international food brands and sell and open Franchise Outlets. It includes everything like opening restaurants, selling territories, training our franchises and supporting them throughout the business. We provide a regulated and organized restaurant business to our Franchisee, which is already tested and successful internationally. We currently holding the all-India rights of British Fried Chicken Brand "Chicken Cottage" and American Pizza Brand "Artichoke Basille's Pizza".
2. What is the biggest challenge of being a Chairman and how do you overcome it?
The amount of travel and work required with the large territory to deal in, and the large array of people to deal with including logistics, suppliers of raw materials, machinery etc at different locations while keeping the quality in check is a challenge, but I overcome that with proper time management and efficient work. I never compromise on the quality as it is the most important aspect of this business.
3. Where do you see the company in the next five years and how will you bring about the change?
I plan to lead my company to the top 5 Food Chain Corporations in India within the next 5 Years and this will be made possible by the unique flavors we bring to Indian market with our Brands. Like "Chicken Cottage" is a leading British Fried chicken Brand which offers British flavors with healthier cooking which is not present in any current Fast-Food brands and "Artichoke Pizza" which will be the first chain of restaurants in India to offer actual authentic Italian Pizzas and other Italian Cuisine.
Also, we will achieve our goals by transparent and efficient Franchising and co-operating with more franchisees.
4. Did you ever feel like giving up on being a Chairman and what motivated you to pull this off?
Not at all. Food and business have always been the part of my life that I am passionate about. This business and this work are exactly what I wish to do and therefore I have never felt like giving up on this. And the progress I have made with my previous food franchising business improved my experiences and solidified my belief on the food industry.
5. Describe your biggest achievement?
There have been many achievements in this journey of Food and Franchising business but I think that opening 16 Franchise stores within 2 Years as the Territory Partner of Genuine Broaster India with my earlier Proprietorship "Apex Brand Franchises" was my biggest achievement. We will be breaking the record with our New Brands in the coming years.
6. From where you get the idea for business?
I love Travelling and trying different cuisines. I travel a lot within India and internationally and try all kinds of Food and whenever I see something really good that is not available in India, I would always think about what if this was introduced in India. There is no lack of inspiration or ideas when we travel a lot according to me. There are so many cultures and cuisines for us to discover. That is how I went on to deal with the two Brands that I am introducing in India.
7. What was your aim to start the company?
My aim when I started this company was to Introduce new food and cultures into India and creating large Food Chains within a franchising system where people can make more secure and tested business investments to progress and become successful mutually.
We always wanted to create a transparent and supportive franchising system for the people who want to open their own restaurant and not to worry about being exploited like the bigger franchise brands do in India with their Franchisees.
8. Tell us some of your failures?
I would not consider any part of the experiences I have had with this business as failures, sure there have been ups and downs like every business, but it always results in progress when we work smart and hard enough. So, there are no failures as such.
9. What is the role of your family in your successful career?
My family is a supportive and food loving one, they are always up for something new and it helps in researching food for business. So they are an important part of it.
10. What is your message to the young generations and to their parents?
I would say that creativity should be encouraged in today's young generation, as they are breaking the cycle of the majority mentality where the education and career lines were only moving towards jobs without any sense of individual entrepreneurship or innovation to create things. Young generation should venture out of their comfort zones and go with what they are passionate about and parents should support them.
