1. Describe about your Business and
founders.
The brand PHADE was established in the
spring of 2021 by Mr. HARDIK VARIA who is also the founder of brand Whiskers
which serves Luxurious men's grooming products. Phade was born to create
exemplary skincare products using plant extracts, sustainable farming and green
practices which results in producing a dynamic range of skincare products. We
believe in providing the best skincare products possible. We continue to use hand-picked
fresh ingredients to create products that contain potent healing and
beautifying properties. Many of these ingredients are combined with purest
plant extracts containing minerals and trace elements found nowhere else on
earth. Our products are made without any severe heating or hydrogenating
processes that can affect the nutritional content and potency of natural
ingredients. Vitamins are captured in their all-natural fresh base, offering
dramatic results as actual seeds, pulps and peels impart regenerative and
healing powers that only nature can produce.
The products include Stretch mark
lotion/cream, psoriasis cleansers and creams, eczema creams, diabetes lotions
and creams.
2. What is the biggest challenge of
being a CEO and how do you overcome it?
I think the correct full form of CEO is
Challenge Excepting Officer. Being a CEO is a lonely job. It feels like
everyone is looking to you to have all the answers. There are challenges at
every step. From growth to people, innovation, sales and marketing, execution
alignment, planning, communication, strategy and laser sharp focus. To overcome
all these, I keep changing and dodging my strategies. I always keep motivating
myself on ordinary days too.
3. Where do you see the company in the
next five years and how will you bring about the change?
We are planning to launch a mobile app in
near future where consumers will able to test their skin conditions by
submitting skin concern pictures.
I do not have a precise role in mind, but
my aim over the next five years is to be at a place where I can make a
difference. I will also be looking for opportunities to expand my
responsibilities within this role to work towards my goal.
4. Did you ever feel like giving up on
being a CEO and what motivated you to pull this off?
Never. Being a CEO gives me an adrenaline
rush that no other drug can replace. “What next?” are the two words which keep
me motivated.
5. Describe your biggest achievement.
The biggest is yet to come.
6. From where you get the idea for
business?
I first thought of starting a skincare
company when my wife was pregnant in 2018. She used to spend hours searching
for good products online to prevent stretch marks. We also used to discuss a
lot about hormonal changes and how the body reacts during and post pregnancy. I
also started surfing about companies that were into making pregnancy care
products and trust me I could not find one. As I was already serving the market
by making men’s grooming products, I could differentiate between ingredients
very easily. All the products serving this category were not at all satisfying.
I came across with different skin problems in my family and relatives like
itchy skin due to diabetes, psoriasis, eczema, etc. I then decided to start an
intense skin care company that could honestly serve this category.
7. What was your aim to start the
company?
There are no such brands focusing on
appearance of stretch marks instead brands are selling products to lighten or
cure existing stretch marks. So we thought to come up with the solution.
8. What is your message to the young generations and to their parents?
Start by doing what's necessary, then do
what's possible and suddenly you are doing the impossible.
