Interview With Pritesh Ahire - Founder And CEO of Digital Mind

1. Describe about your Business and founders.

Hello, my name is Pritesh Ahire and I am the only founder of Digitalmind. My business is about Digital Marketing and we provide all services related to Digital Marketing such as Social Media Marketing, Google Ads, Website and App Development and so on. These services will be very helpful to build and grow any kind of business.

We know people of all age group are more active on social media. So if any customer wants any product or service, he/she search them on the internet and we provide solutions to grow and build their services/products on the Internet. We help brands to grow online and make them visible to the customers according to their preference; means we are the medium of seller to the potential customers. 

2. What is the biggest challenge of being a CEO and how do you overcome it?

Being a CEO of the company or a start-up, one of the biggest challenges is getting work or clients. Because no one is ready to give the contract to a fresher, everyone is looking for an experienced one. So when I started this company, I had to work for absolutely free for some clients.

Another challenge is my educational background, I am a BSc Agriculture graduate. As you can relate, Agriculture and Digital Marketing  are two different fields, so the biggest challenge is to learn all from basic to advanced and become successful in this field. I overcome this by practising more and more. Last year in lockdown I started practicing from 6.30 AM till end of the day. I practice almost 8 to 9 hours a day and run trial and error method. Next one is society, when I started the company, some of my friends and family made fun of it. But I ignored them and continue my work as before. So, I would like to say, if you are starting something new you will face many challenges and obstacles, but you have to keep calm and keep going focusing on your goal. 

3. Where do you see the company in the next five years and how will you bring about the change?

I can see my company after 5 years being very much successful in this industry and becoming a brand and adding big clients to my portfolio. So for that, I have to work more and gain more experience in this field and learn new updates. Because if I stay up to date, I can implement that for my client and they will get the benefit of the same.

4. Did you ever feel like giving up on being a CEO and what motivated you to pull this off?

So far, I have never felt like giving up on being a CEO because it is my dream. See, from birth till death of an individual, he/she faces many types of problems but they never give up. Like that, in business if you are willing to do something, definitely you will face problems and at one point you will think of giving up, but that is the test of our patience and our will power to accomplish that. And my motivation is my dream and vision, that's all.

5. Describe your biggest achievement

I think my biggest achievement is, when my clients say that they are satisfied with our work and they get benefit in their business because of us. And talking about my individual achievement, in June 2021 I got 'Youngest Entrepreneur of India Award 2021' at Indian Achiever Forum, New Delhi. That time I felt I am doing something for nation-building. I have completed more than 150 to 160 courses related to Digital Marketing.

I have also received 'Best Citizen Reporter Award' by Maharashtra Times. In 2018, I wrote an article on cyber crime which was later published in the Cyber-Crime Department of Maharashtra state. Then in 2020, I collected some informations and published my first E-book on 'Recent Startups in Agriculture Sector'. And my success stories are published in 2-3 magazines.

6. From where did you get the idea for business?

I think my biggest turning point in life is learning Digital Marketing. I am already intrested in this field, but coincidentally I found an advertisement about this course. I think I got the idea of business during lockdown, so I completed more than 150 to 160 courses related to this from various national and international institutes and started my firm.

7. What was your aim to start the company?

In the beginning I didn't think much about the aim, but later as my business started growing, I thought about investing more time in this and my aim is to become a most successful one in this field.

8. Tell us some of your failures

Talking about the failures, till now I didn't got as many clients as expected and I think it is because of lacking in good communication skill. If you have good communication skill you can do anything in every field. So I am thinking that this might be one of my failures.

9. What is the role of your family in your successful career?

'Successful Career' has strong unidimensional connotations. I am more interested in variety and depth of experience. I have had an eclectic career, which would not have been possible without the amazing support that I have received from my family. My father always told me that "son, do whatever you want in life" so this is a very plus point for me. My family always appreciates every small achievement and promote. That inspires me the most.

Not only my family, but also my friends support me a lot by putting my photo on their social media accounts especially my buddies groups. It sounds like a silly thing, but yes my friends contribute an equal part as my family to my success.  

10. What is your message to the young generations and their parents?

I think I am not old enough to give message to the young generation because, I am just 21 right now. Still I would like to say, “you will face many challenges for what you have chosen, it is an extremely difficult and uncertain path, but if you keep faith, the journey will deeply transform you, enrich you and make you into someone you’ll be proud of. At starting you will see your friends, some family members making fun of you, but you have to ignore them and do whatever you want that's it.

And message for parents is, “Please let your child do whatever they want. Allow them to follow their passion. If they follow their passion, they might not get lots of money in future, but they will stay 100% satisfied in life that's it.”
