I am the CEO and only founder of TDPVista. TDPVista is an ecosystem of technical and mentorship platforms that connects the chain of mentors, mentees, and industries providing everything students need, from learning to earning.
TDPVista provides various opportunities by organizing events and workshops to explore and showcase talents while learning new things all in one place.
2. What is the biggest challenge of being a CEO and how do you overcome it?
As a CEO I found it hard to make space and time for reflection and to think strategically. I am mostly overwhelmed by managing multiple things and initiatives which makes it difficult for me to take out time to do my own work and process my things. I will also have a hard time meeting deadlines in the calendar as there is so much on my plate.
I overcome the challenges by focusing and prioritising important tasks. I also try to establish regular communication with my team and guide them how to proceed further with tasks. I always divide their work into small sections and compile the work right after completion. I clear my schedule by the end of the day by jam-p packing my meetings, work during the day and making time for my own work and planning.
3. Where do you see the company in the next five years and how will you bring about the change?
In the long race I see TDPVista to be India’s most widespread ecosystem that encapsulates diversified learning dimensions and provides high-quality services and making India a hub for learners, innovators and investors. And I aim to build India’s most advanced and convenient technical platforms where one can find and discover anything they want to learn and connecting their knowledge to success.
I plan on achieving this by modifying my strategies regularly in the era of changing times to be up to date with trends and requirements of the society. I also plan on achieving reliable brand impression with large customer base by benefiting my customers.
4. Did you ever feel like giving up on being a CEO and what motivated you to pull this off?
Surely there are a lot of situations and times when I felt like giving up especially when there is huge chaos and plans execution didn't fall together. But do I quit? or continue?
Every single time I choose the latter because, I strongly believe in what I do and I know this business will pivot and I reflect back on why I started in the first place which pumps me to continue. Also my team is my biggest motivator, as they look at problems and are willing to face it with full enthusiasm, that is what pulls me back on track.
5. Describe your biggest achievement.
My biggest achievement of all time is the team I have built. It fills me with joy that I have been able to influence people around me and have touched so many lives in a positive way. I love the fact when my teammates want to continue to work with my organization and stay connected.
6. From where do you get the idea for business?
Normally, I see people blaming situations or other people for their misery or failure. We normally blame our education system for our lack of knowledge. I look at the gaps present in our system and generated ideas to fill out these gaps by providing add-ons, mentorship, access to self-learning and all the facilities needed to master and have the knowledge. My ideas originated with the motive to identify the gaps and connect them to accomplish a smooth system.
7. What was your aim to start the company?
The aim and purpose to start TDPVista was to build advanced technical platforms that reduce the gap between students and mentorship or access to learning. Our objective is to build quick, reliable and efficient platforms which provide mentorship, practical knowledge and opportunities to learn and grow in diversified fields and build a learning place connecting knowledge and success. So that India's talent remains and shines in India itself.
8. Tell us some of your failures.
Before starting the company I have faced many personal failures. I have a very inquisitive nature and I like to try a lot of things. I have failed multiple times while trying to make machines, musical instrument and even a smart bike. Surely the outcomes were not desirable but I have learned that one must keep trying. So, yes I have gone through multiple failures but It's a good thing that the company has not faced any yet.
9. What is the role of your family in your successful career?
My family acts as an understanding support system for me, they always understand my work priority and respect my private space. They gave me proper time to focus on my work and don't disturb me every time for small things. Also, they gave me my space to bloom and explore by not asking continuous questions regarding my business or career.
10. What is your message to the younger generation and to their parents?
My message to the younger generation is “JUST GIVE IT A TRY”, I would just like to tell them that “Look up guys and check the speed at which the world is moving. It’s moving pretty fast, right?” So everyone must try out their ideas at least once and understand that making mistakes is as much a part of life as avoiding them. You might never get a chance to do it again, so go give it a shot, have a base plan ready with proper research and rest of things will fall into place while executing.
Message for the parents is that they should be supportive about their child’s decision and show trust in them and their ideas. Parents should not spoon feed their child or should try to give them a path to follow, they should always let the child explore and let him create his own path. Parents should definitely guide and try to be in loop of what the child is doing and should be supportive if they fail.
