2. What is the biggest challenge of being a CEO and how do you overcome it?

The biggest challenge is building great teams with the right talent. The keyword is right talent. It has been a challenge finding people with the right combination of skills and entrepreneurial drive who can align to the company’s objectives. This is true especially when an organisation has limited budget and resources.

This could be more difficult for companies who assemble remote/work from home teams. It’s tougher to streamline workflow, establish employee trust and cultivate synergy during covid WFH scenario.

We would be able to meet better results if recruiting right people was easy. Therefore, we invest a lot in education and training. We see that having talented, motivated, and educated people will make for better employees-resulting in a better company and translate in higher revenues.

3. Where do you see the company in the next five years and how will you bring about the change?

5 years may seem like a while away, but a lot is going to change in 5 years, let alone the next 3-6 months. We want to be the best business enabler across industries. Technology would have a significant impact on changing competition in the industry in the next 5 years. Our all lines of businesses would see a major change in technology adopted and would decide the winner in the next 5 years. We will also have to leverage technology for bringing efficiency and better results, even sales will depend on technology deployed.

4. Did you ever feel like giving up on being a CEO and what motivated you to pull this off?

Yes, there are times when I feel that I should give up as a CEO as the plans are not being fulfilled and business revenue targets are not achieved. However, thinking with a calm mind, I realise that these challenges are there with all industries and the long-term vision motivates me to again bounce back with a renewed energy.

5. Describe your biggest achievement

My biggest achievement would be surviving thru the covid pandemic amidst the lockdown and still being able to sustain the business till now.

6. From where you get the idea for business?

I saw a clear gap in SME’s and decided that I can contribute to increase the revenues and streamline operations for our customers and started the business.

7. What was your aim to start the company?

Aim to start the company was to plug the gap which companies face and I wanted to start something on my own and quit the corporate rat race.

8. Tell us some of your failures

I lost a sizeable client which impacted 50% of my revenues last year. We were not able to relate to the client’s requirement. We understand it now after we lost the client.

9. What is the role of your family in your successful career?

Family has always been a moral support for me. Especially during the pandemic it was the family’s support which helped to overcome the stress and again bounce back.

10. What is your message to the young generations and to their parents?

My message to parents is that do not condition your child’s mindset from early age for a career like doctor or engineer. Instead guide them and motivate them to do something on their own rather than working for someone and do something which benefits the society at large. Teach them not to be afraid of failures.
