Shailly, CBO
& Co-founder, Questhiring
I'm Shailly, CBO
& Co-founder of Questhiring. After my masters in Human Resources, I
explored and learnt the nuances of the field of talent acquisition and
management. With over 11 years of experience in helping tech organisations
equip themselves with the best talent, I entered into my own entrepreneurial
venture, which is now a leading name in building the most effective teams
across various industries.
Questhiring
We're a value driven talent acquisition firm that excels in
understanding the client's requisites and helps candidates propel their careers
by providing them with most apt career opportunities. Over the years, we've
understood the market's demands, realities and have
contributed to laying down the foundational teams of several startups,
ecommerce and IT organizations successfully.
To bettering the ecosystem
While I was a happy working professional, I was never
satisfied. Having faced hiring-related challenges first-hand, I was always
driven to improve this ecosystem, better the client-candidate experience, and
leverage my decade long experience in assisting organisations building capable
and relevant teams in the shortest amount of time. While I was still in the
ideation phase, the startup, ecommerce, and tech industries were gaining
momentum parallelly, thereby giving me the much needed push to start my own
business.
The beginning
It felt unbelievable at first, as it was our day 1 of being
operational and the client had insisted on a candidate who could join at the
earliest. At this level of urgency and with our knack for identifying the ideal
fit, we closed the hiring process on the same day and the candidate joined the
very next day. I felt a little closer to the satisfaction I so badly craved;
within a day, we ended up with a happy client and candidate. Since then,
there’s been no stopping and we continue to write stories of such successful
associations each day.
Propitious flow ahead
Our success thus far has been solely through word of mouth.
It is our impeccable track record that’s ensured repeat clients, plus, we
continue to leverage our industry connections, who don’t incur any cost until
we deliver. While the domestic market is where our core focus lies, in order to
scale up, we will soon begin to focus on select international markets which are
also in the phase of the same start-up/ecom boom where Indian markets were some
6-7 years ago. Despite the geographical segregation, the skills required
transcend such bounds, thereby making talent and jobs accessible anywhere,
which is where I see the future of Questhiring.
The answer to this question varies at different stages of entrepreneurship. While starting off, an entrepreneur understands that there is no drawing of boundaries between the two; your personal and professional lives go hand in hand. As you gradually progress and establish processes to a certain extent, you feel the need to treat yourself to a little bit of personal time only to come back to work as a better you. Once you’ve invested your heart and soul into your venture, you don’t ever cease being an entrepreneur, and if duty calls, one has to weigh, prioritize, and act accordingly.
