I am Vivek Rai, a passionate educator, who has been involved in Education domain from the last 12 years. After passing Out from NIT Jaipur in the year 2005, and a degree course in Mechatronics from Denso, Japan, I worked in automobile Sector for around 5 years. But my passion towards education has made me to Quit my job and start my career in Education domain. Having held HOD positions in many prestigious Institutions, and running 2 education businesses, I, along with my Friend Harshpal Singh, started the company “Dudar Edtech pvt ltd. We both have worked together in many Companies. We remember the days when we used to discuss the problems faced by students and possible solutions. After days of brainstorming, we came up with this idea and started working on this and have come a long way and now we are at a stage where we are ready to go to market.

Dudar Edtech Private Limited is an educational technology company. With a vision to become a company that ensures a cost-effective way to quality education.

Though novice by its inception, it has a team full of experienced educators and technologists who have been in this industry for many years.

Dudar edtech has developed a product for students to help them get their doubts solved instantly by connecting them live with tutors, through its APP. The platform will have tutors ranging from 0 years of experience to very experienced, from central universities to IITs/IISc/AIIMS, BSc. /BCom. graduates to PhD holders. All of them have to go through a rigorous process of testing as well as demonstration of teaching skills to get onboarded, ensuring high quality education through our platform.  

The student, after getting enrolled, will have the option to ask questions from any of the books of his choice, at any time of the day. Once he clicks the photo and sends it to the APP, a teacher will connect live to the student within 60 seconds. The student and teacher get connected over a video call. The doubt is solved instantly, and the student provides feedback to the teacher.

In the next update, we will also provide a way for students to demand live classes for any chapter or even a topic in just a matter of clicks. This will ensure the freedom to choose the teachers of his/her choice. Also, this will be a very pocket-friendly solution available to the students.

We are three co-founders who have all the major responsibilities of the company. Be it Growth, Strategies, Product Development, Recruitments, Marketing, Operations.

We have around 10 employees in various domains. We are also on a hiring spree in marketing, sales, and teaching.

We understand that a company can only sustain if the employees of the company are satisfied. That is why we, as a company, make sure that the employees are well satisfied. For that, we always work in this direction.

 

The work drive

For me, the only thing that motivates me is my work. People get tired after working hard, but for me, this is the complete opposite. I feel more energetic when I am working. Giving my 18 hours to work encourages me to do more, and this ultimately motivates me.

The most unique feature of our application is the instant connection with the tutor. We claim that the tutor gets connected with the student within 60 seconds, anytime of the day.

Our motto is to give students freedom to select the teacher of their choice. This will become India’s one and only platform for on demand instant live tutoring with freedom to choose pricing and teachers.

 

Inch perfect market

Our target market is every student in India in particular and the world in general. There is always a need among students to have their doubts instantly solved. And we are trying to cater to them the best solution with instant doubt solving too, live with the tutor.

This particular concept as a whole excites us a lot. Being educators, ourselves, we have felt the issues faced by students, which made us decide to target this audience.

 

Can you share about a person who influenced you?

In everyone’s life, there is always a person who inspires them a lot. I do admire many people, but if I name someone who really has inspired me and influenced me, it is "Jack Ma," the Founder of Alibaba.

Though I have never had a chance to meet him, I wish to meet him in the near future.

The best quote by him that inspires me is

" Today is hard, tomorrow will be worse, but the day after tomorrow will be Sunshine" He also added that -most of the people would give up tomorrow evening.
