Could you please share about your company and its services?
We are an integrated facility management company operating across India with different types of facility services. Our company offers a wide range of Manpower services to many establishments such as Manufacturing industries, shopping malls, Schools, Hospitals, warehouses, Greenfield projects, big corporate offices, Banks, Govt. establishments, etcetera. We are Govt. a registered company that can provide you with services starting from the security guards at your gate to the chief executive officer taking all the important decisions of any company. You can find suitable people all under one roof and that is what SAS India is striving for.
What was your mission to start the Business?
Since my college days, I have observed that Security and Manpower industry is way too unorganized. In fact, Private Security in India is the 2nd largest sector, after agriculture, in terms of employment, with close to 09 million employees. The Indian personal security market was estimated at INR 57,000 crore (~USD 8.8 billion) in 2016 and is likely to touch INR 99,000 crore (~USD 15.2 billion) by 2020 and INR 1.5 lakh crores (~USD 23.1 billion) by 2022 (as per latest industry estimates). So this thought came to my mind that an Industry with such an enormous potential is not handled with care which leads to exploitation of our workforce and leaks in the security setup of our nation. Also, many industries even after putting in huge investments fail to succeed due to a lack of quality manpower and operating procedures of international standards. Many manpower contractors were not educated themselves to impart the proper training to their people and run this industry which provides huge employment opportunities to our people in an organized manner. So this thought pushed me and drove me to come up with SAS India- a company that’s a problem solver for all the good reasons.
How did you identify that you have a passion for Entrepreneurship?
India is a fast-paced growing economy with lakhs of businesses taking birth and dying daily. For a decade, we have observed a drastic rise in people entering into their own businesses instead of working in a 9 to 5 job. In spite of many challenges, people are still preferring on working on their startups rather than giving a nod to someone else’s instructions. We have also seen a great shift in society’s behavior towards people who are struggling with their own ventures no matter what. The only reason for people looking at new business startups with very respectful eyes is Entrepreneurship.
I am quite grateful that I have understood the difference between a businessman and an entrepreneur at an early age. If you are solving problems along with making profits you are an entrepreneur. If your business/action is doing any good to society you are an entrepreneur. If you can add value in the life of any family and can also inspire people to join you to do so, you are an absolute entrepreneur.
And as you already know that the idea of our company
revolves around the aforementioned fundamentals of entrepreneurship only I
identified my passion for entrepreneurship.
How are you able to manage both Business and family together?
There is a saying in English,” when the going gets tough, the tough get going.’’
In the earlier days of my entrepreneurial journey, I have
faced problems in setting priorities between personal and professional life.
But when you work with sincerity and commitment towards your goals you release
positive vibrations around you which can be sensed by your family and that
helps in having their support and cooperation.
Being an entrepreneur, I have realized that I consider my
team members as my family I have greater responsibilities and which drives me
to manage both my families very efficiently.
Can you share about your team members?
We are a team of 2000+ members consisting of people ranging from young enthusiastic guns to retired army veterans. Our team is a blend of both dynamic and experienced professionals who are very good at their jobs.
Where you want see your company in next 7 years?
In the next 7 years, I want to our company to be equipped enough to provide our wide range of services to the remotest place PAN India. I want SAS India to emerge as one of the most organized companies in the Security and manpower Industry which can train maximum people and create huge employment opportunities across nation. Our next 7 years plan is to be identified as the best place to work in India.
