Bhavya R J, Founder, KRIYE - a masterpiece

I am Bhavya, founder of KRIYE a masterpiece.  I am an Engineering graduate, specializing in Electronics. I worked with one of the elite MNCs for a year and a half and understood the working mechanisms of the corporate world. After a routine corporate life, I took a break from the corporate work culture.

Ever since my engineering days, I have had an urge to start a venture of my own. Meanwhile, whenever there was a big family occasion or function, I preferred to design my outfit and get it stitched. Even with close monitoring with the tailor, I wasn't getting the desired outcome with the outfit. With this, I made up my mind to become a Fashion Designer and enrolled in a Diploma in Fashion Designing at one of Bangalore's prestigious institutions, where I graduated with honours. This improved my understanding and knowledge of the latest trends and fashion, and KRIYE - a masterpiece is the result of my passion and desire for the fashion industry.

KRIYE - a masterpiece. It is a Fashion Designer Studio located at Kasturinagar, one of the prime locations in the current new Bangalore. The place is strategically chosen since it has good metro connectivity all through Bangalore and hence clients could have access to our store easily.

 The main mantra of KRIYE is that we would love to understand our client's requirements to the fullest and deliver an outfit that is a MASTERPIECE. Hence, we have a tag-line of KRIYE - a masterpiece we cater to all the requirements of our clients.

Design Influences of KRIYE

The biggest influence on launching KRIYE - a masterpiece is Indian traditional dress, which has a huge market potential, but people still prefer western wear over Indian wear. Every state in India has its own traditional attire that can be marketed to the global market. Even with such a huge market cap, there is a lack of designers in the industry today. I get excited about the bigger picture of introducing Indian tradition to the world of fashion. Today, Milan is referred to as the Fashion Capital, and imagine that being changed to India, the sheer thought of which excites me.

 

The greatest strength of KRIYE

One of the greatest strengths of KRIYE - a masterpiece is sticking to the local tradition and culture and displaying its richness to the world of fashion.

 

Challenges encountered and overcome

The main challenge that we face most of the time is quality, which is our highest priority, but it comes with a cost. The only way we can prove that to our clients is by delivering the desired results within a precise timeline.

Our team consists of 3 master tailors, 3 karigari, 2 helpers, a designer who interacts with the tailors, and me, who interacts and gets the requirements from our clients.
