My name
is Vikrantkumar Yadav. I am also the founder and serving CEO of Panacea Intec
Pvt. Ltd.
I happen
to be a postgraduate in Advanced Electronics and a close observer and keen
enthusiast of startup ecosystems. As a result, I am also a part of several
start-ups in fields such as electric vehicles, neutral clothing, food and
beverages, cybersecurity, logistics, travel and tourism, and finance. I really
enjoy associating myself with technology and its sectors. Apart from being an
entrepreneur, I am also a physics and electronics teacher and a programmer.

Panacea
Intec is a B2B multi-domain technology company that provides services in areas
such as Software & Web Technologies, Automation, Robotics, Publications,
Electrics, Fabrication, Learning & Education, and others. By the end of
this year, we are planning to expand our domains into Farming, Energy and
Pet Care and thus also go B2C by Q4 2022-23.
We are
into designing web portfolios for start-ups, building machines for companies
and also providing tech consultancy services along with product design and
development.
A
good work-life balance
The work
culture at Panacea Intec is very holistic and fun. It all starts from the
beginning. To explain the basics, we don’t hire people based on their academic
or scholastic achievements. We would rather prefer skill based hiring and
personal behaviour because I think a person with good behaviour and a positive
attitude can be taught anything. Also, we indulge in a lot of games and team
exercises. Also, we have included fixed durations of work, so no one at Panacea
Intec has to do any overwork or overtime. We promote healthy work-life balance
and we encourage our teammates to keep learning by providing them with
resources for the same.
Overcoming Challenges like a Champ
I think
the biggest challenge we faced was finance (because Panacea Intec is a
bootstrapped company), but I was doing a lot of part time jobs to fill that
one.
The next
big challenge was finding a niche for the services we were offering. We
overcame that by making a drastic shift in our business models.
We, like
many start-ups, really suffered from the challenge of hiring like-mindset
resource people. We overcame that by making changes to our hiring process.
With good
people and good work, we came out pretty strong.
Aim
for Technology and Automation
Providing
quality technology services in the domains of software and automation was and
continues to be the primary motivator and intention behind the establishment of
Panacea Intec.
Integrating
Change
We at
Panacea Intec thrive on growth, and hence we would like to integrate change
into the manufacturing process by adding automation in as many production lines
as possible.
We are
planning to increase menstrual period leaves for female team members from 2
days to 3 days.
We are
also in discussions on adding nap schedules (30 minutes) during work hours for
team members for them to function better.
How do
you stay updated with technology?
Everyone,
be it a junior hardware engineer or the management head, we all keep studying
about our respective domains and expertise.
We
promote a very healthy learning environment by keeping discussions of changing
trends and then find resources to get hands on them. I personally like to
attend lot of seminars and meet with people from the same domain. That helps
most of the time.
