Could you give your brief Introduction to our Audience?

Srividya has built a business career of authenticity and living her values, and helping future business aspirants do the same. She is successfully running 3 business ideas all alone and also, she is one of the most trusted and respected business coach in the industry today. She holds a Masters in Mass Communication and Journalism and Masters in Biotechnology. She is also a certified Phonetics Coach and a CELTA, TESOL certified trainer. All her learning and experience that she has gathered over the years, she is now utilizing in her business path and also enlightening many other business aspirants across the country

“For me, the entrepreneurial challenge was charting a path
where I could come as my entire self every day,” she reflects.

Driven by self-discovery while working for others, Srividya made a life-changing leap to be an entrepreneur. Today, she runs 2 companies with multiple ideas, aligned with her values, with 70+ employees with a core of teamwork, honesty and integrity.

Can you tell us more about Srividya as a Business Coach?

India now is a land of start-ups. Service or product, small scale or largescale, a new idea is waiting to take shape every hour in our country. In such a situation, it becomes moral and social responsibility of every entrepreneur, to share their story, their journey, challenges they faced, mistakes they did and the way they overcame all obstacles. India has seen 65,861 start ups in FY 2021-22 (as on 14th March 2022). Everyone needs to learn from other businesses to ensure start-up failures are decreased.

I have two organizations.

Lead Training and Corporate Solutions :

‘Lead’ is a conglomerate of Educationists, Human Resource Experts, Trainers and Industry Professionals. Our innovative and diversified range of recruitment solutions, training programs and other consulting services are designed and delivered by an ever-growing team of subject matter experts who are fully competent in providing solutions relevant to Manufacturing Industries, IT sectors, BPOs, Hospitals and Hospitality industries.

Our outcome-focused collaborative approach will assist our clients to identify high value opportunities, address the business challenges, and transform the work environment with employees with increased productivity and satisfaction.

Aura Group of Industries :

Started in the year 2017, the organization was mainly started for making Luxury Aromatic Candles, which are natural essential oil based. Over the years, Aura has horizontally and vertically established considerably.

Aura Innate – Essential oil end products (Therapeutic products for Migraine, Insomnia, Mosquito Repellent and Tulsi Flaxseed oil drops for natural immunity boosting)

Aura Elegance – Candle Lotions and other Natural beauty products

Aura Radiance – Candle shades, candle based and electrical diffuser of aroma oils, designer lamp shades and candle shades for interior decorators

 

What are some of the challenges you face regarding catalysing creativity?

Creativity is not simply an issue of nature (born with) vs. nurture (learned). It’s both. For some, creativity is a natural gift. For others it’s developed over time. In either case your creativity needs to be stimulated.

But, when creativity is the biggest part of your business, your earning, sometimes it becomes a pressure. Numbers overtake your creative part of the brain and creativity decreases.

Moreover, as a business owner, responsibility of paying salaries to all your employees on time, keeping them all in their highest spirits always and many more real time challenges eat up your creative thinking.

 

What changes you have brought to the women with you and how? what are you looking forward with them?

I wouldn’t say I have brought in a notice worthy change in anyone. But yes, I have provided employment to such women who can not easily find a decent living elsewhere. Also, my support is always available for all women who want to be their own bosses.

Could you tell us about the accomplishments you are proud of?

What have I achieved/accomplished yet to be proud of?! Journey is long!

But something that is recognized is, I was chosen as ‘Icon of Bharath’ to share my story as a Business Woman in the most prestigious platform created by NDTV India and ffreedom app. ‘Icons of Bharath’ is a show where 1200+ mentors of the app, who are successful entrepreneurs are recognized and given an opportunity to share their story. One such Icon, who is working seriously towards bringing an Impact in the society will be chosen as Sarva Shresht Icon of Bharath soon. I am hoping to at least reach the finale.

I am extremely thankful to NDTV for such an amazing exposure given which I could never have dreamt.

And yes, my family is proud of my initiatives, my mentees are achieving financial success, many of my students have taken a serious step towards their dreams. These indeed, are the achievements I can pat myself for.
