Drawing on my extensive background
in teaching, research, and social welfare initiatives, I possess a diverse
skill set and profound understanding that enables me to create an academic
environment that not only fosters academic growth but also integrates
seamlessly with the larger social context. My primary objective is not solely
to prepare students for leadership positions, but rather to provide them with
the tools and mindset they need to become transformative leaders who make
significant contributions to the betterment of society.
Prof (Dr) Namita Rajput - academic and career life
With nearly three decades of academic experience, including a three-year term as Principal (OSD) at Sri Aurobindo College (Evening), University of Delhi, I have amassed a substantial corpus of work consisting of over 200 publications. In addition, I have received multiple invitations to serve as a delegate at a variety of academic events. The University Grants Commission has designated me as a member of the Expert Committee established to deliberate on matters pertinent to the SAKSHAM Web Portal, which addresses women's and sexual harassment-related complaints. In addition, the Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC) has designated me as a member of the Management and Business Subject Expert Group. Within this role, I bear the responsibility of meticulously evaluating submissions of Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) proposals and providing erudite recommendations for the subsequent course of action. In addition, I am certified as an Assessment Centre Analyst (HR Professional) by the Government of India's Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Technology Development Centre in Chennai. Despite my preference for academic pursuits, I have always recognized the significance of my role as a member of the human community and actively pursued opportunities to contribute in various ways to society. Due to this justification, through my non-profit organization, UNHAD, I have devoted my efforts to the advancement of marginalized individuals, particularly children and women. It is because of such contributions that I have garnered recognition from the Police Commissioner for my diligent contributions. Additionally, the Ministry of Culture has bestowed commendation upon me for my active involvement in initiatives pertaining to Swachta Abhiyan, underscoring the value and significance of my participation. I am a member of the PHD Chamber of Commerce's Education Committee. I am a member of the Subcommittee on Research and Innovation and the Committee on the Education of Sustainable Development Goals. Numerous awards and accolades have been bestowed upon me in recognition of my contributions, which incorporate both academic endeavors and broader societal concerns. I am an NBA assessor, lead auditor for quality standards ISO 9001-2015 and ISO 45001-2018, as well as a Technical Expert Member of the Quality Council of India and NABCB ISO 21000 Assessor. In addition to my roles and affiliations mentioned earlier, I serve as a Trainer for Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) and Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) within the Ministry of Women and Child Development. I also lend my expertise as an external NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) expert to esteemed institutions such as Kalindi College, Mata Sundri College, Sri Aurobindo College Evening, Bharti College, and Mohan Lal Sukhadia University. Furthermore, I have conducted comprehensive gender audits at numerous universities in Delhi and across India, including Jaipur National University, among others. As a member of the National School of Drama's Internal Complaints Committee (ICC), I actively contribute to promoting a safe and inclusive environment. I am also honored to serve as an expert on sexual harassment in the workplace against women within the University Grants Commission's Saksham portal.
I have had the privilege of serving as the Principal (OSD) at Sri Aurobindo College (Evening), University in Delhi for a term of 3 years, from April 2017 to May 2020. During my tenure, I worked diligently to contribute to the growth and development of the college, ensuring a conducive learning environment for the students.
Prior to my role as Principal, I had the opportunity to gain enriching experience as an Associate Professor in the Department of Commerce at Sri Aurobindo College (Morning) since December 1, 1995. Over the years, I have dedicated myself to imparting knowledge and fostering a passion for commerce among the students.
Before joining Sri Aurobindo College (Morning), I had the privilege of teaching in other esteemed colleges of the University of Delhi. I started my teaching career in August 1991 and taught at colleges like Kamla Nehru College, Venkateshwara College, and Shivaji College. These experiences allowed me to broaden my horizons and deepen my understanding of academia.

I completed my Masters in Commerce from Hindu College, the University of Delhi, securing first division. Building upon my educational foundation, I pursued an MPhil and PhD in International Business from Delhi School of Economics. To further enhance my expertise, I also completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Programme in Finance from the Department of Financial Studies, South Campus, University of Delhi.
In addition to my academic achievements, I hold a Master's degree in Information Technology from Vinayaka Mission University. To stay updated with the evolving technological landscape, I pursued a Microsoft certified course in Cyber Law. I also obtained a Sun Certificate from Sun Microsoft, further expanding my knowledge in the field.
Recognizing the importance of computer science in today's world, I completed a certificate course in Computer Science issued by the Institute of Advanced Computing and Management. These additional qualifications have broadened my horizons and equipped me with a diverse skill set to tackle challenges in the field of education and beyond.
Prof (Dr) Namita Rajput - a researcher & publisher
Besides my rich teaching experience spanning nearly 27 years, I have made significant contributions to the field of research, with a primary focus on banking and finance, human resource management, and sustainability. My name is credited with over 200 conference proceedings and publications in a wide range of reputable journals. Among these, more than 70 have been published in SCOPUS, ABDC (Australian Business Deans Council), and journals listed in UGC care.
I have been honored with invitations as a delegate on numerous occasions, where I actively participated and presented papers in over 150 national and international seminars. I have also been invited to deliver lectures at esteemed international universities such as Brunel University London, among others. Additionally, I have published over 33 books and contributed chapters to respected publishers, including Bloomsbury Publishing, Springer, Taxman Publication, International Book House, and Lambert Academic Publishing, spanning across more than 25 volumes.
In addition to my research and publications, I have developed three unique theories that have gained copyright protection from the Government of India. These theories are: 'The Bhag Theory of Leadership,' 'The 3Es of Motivation,' and '3L Theory of Work Culture.'
I have also played an active role in various projects, including composing 34 modules for UGC project e-Pathshala. I have contributed to the University Grants Commission, University of Delhi, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, and several government projects in different capacities.
Furthermore, I have had the privilege to supervise and advise five doctoral students and 33 MPhil students, guiding them in their research endeavors. I am a life member of esteemed societies and organizations such as the Indian Commerce Association, the Indian Management Association (IMA), Alma, DMA, Paul Harris Fellow, and ROTARY club.
Also, I serve as a member of the Editorial/Advisory Board of various reputed international and national journals, including Inderscience Journal, Sage Publication, FIMT Journal, ASAAR Journal, and ELK Journal of Finance and Risk Management. These roles allow me to contribute to the academic community and stay abreast of the latest developments in my field.
NGO UNHAD
Alongside my academic and research pursuits, I am actively engaged in social welfare initiatives, dedicating the past 15 years to uplifting underprivileged individuals, particularly children and women, through my NGO-UNHAD. As the founding president of the UNHAD Foundation, I am committed to addressing and raising awareness about critical issues such as child abuse, child trafficking, child marriage, and alcohol and drug abuse.
Through UNHAD, we have implemented various initiatives focused on education for children and women, skills training, and environmental safety and awareness. Our aim is to create a better future for the marginalized sections of society. I am honored to have received accolades from the Commissioner of Police, Delhi, for our efforts in combating these social issues. Additionally, the Ministry of Culture has recognized our significant contributions to Swachta Abhiyan activities, highlighting our commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
Furthermore, I serve as the Managing Trustee at Psalm Education Trust, an organization dedicated to promoting a culture of learning and awareness. Our primary goal is to facilitate "education for all" by providing opportunities and resources to individuals who lack access to quality education. Through the trust, we strive to empower individuals and uplift communities through educational initiatives.
Engaging in social welfare activities allows me to contribute to society beyond the realm of academia, and I am driven by the desire to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

I am deeply honored to have received several awards and honors from esteemed national academic and social organizations, as well as the Government of India, in recognition of my contributions to education, science, social work, and leadership. Among the awards I have been privileged to receive are the Dr. S. Radha Krishnan Lifetime Achievement National Award 2018, the Women Excellence Award in Education 2017 by YMCA, the 1RSD-Outstanding Researcher Award 2017, and the Best Women ICONIC Award-2018 by Earth Saviours Foundation. These awards serve as a testament to my dedication and commitment to creating a positive impact on society.
In addition, I have had the privilege of being awarded the Mahatma Gandhi Ekta Samman-2013 by IlF5, the Paul Harris Fellow by Rotary International, the Best Citizen of India Award-2012 by IPH, the Indira Gandhi Shiromani Award 2011, and the Prof. M.B.Shah Memorial Research Award 2014 by ICA. These esteemed recognitions highlight my efforts in various domains and showcase my commitment to excellence.
Recently, I had the pleasure of being applauded by Mr. Vishwa Mohan Bansal, Chairman of the Education Committee at PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), for my dedicated efforts in promoting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The recognition came as a result of organizing several workshops and seminars aimed at raising awareness and fostering progress towards the SDGs.
In my pursuit of continued growth and expertise, I have obtained certifications from renowned institutions such as the University of Leeds, United Kingdom, in Research Ethics, and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research for Sustainable Finance. These certifications have further expanded my knowledge and skills in these important areas.
These awards, certifications, and appointments inspire me to continue my efforts in making a positive impact on society and contributing to the betterment of education, social welfare, and sustainable development.
