Allied Health Professionals
Allied Health Professionals play a major
role as the primary health care providers and contribute a lot to primary
health care services. They take part in all areas of social care and public
health. Allied Health Sciences is a good choice as a higher education. Unlike few
jobs that become trendy for a short time and then become obsolete, healthcare
will always be in demand, due to growing population and increased life
expectancy across the globe.
There are about 14 different streams in
Allied Health Sciences like Anaesthesia Technology, Cardiac Technology, Renal
Dialysis Technology just to name a few. Allied Health Professionals scope
extends beyond hospitals into Academics i.e., Teaching, Research, Professional
Services and there is a huge possibility of becoming Entrepreneurs too.
