Dr. N. Ayyanathan is a Big Data Analytics & Business Intelligence Professional with a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, an autonomous institution affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. At present, he is working as Professor & Director of the Data Centre at the B.S.A. Crescent Institute of Science and Technology. Chennai, India.

 

He is a certified reviewer of the International Journals 'Applied Soft Computing' and 'Supply Chain Analytics’ of Elsevier Publications. With his industry-relevant real-world problem-solving skills, he has published many quality indexed articles using the appropriate machine learning and deep learning models.

His research areas of specialization are Energy Analytics, Supply Chain Analytics, Tourism Analytics and Learning Analytics. He undertakes research and consulting projects in the above areas that are interdisciplinary in nature and provide comprehensive solutions for real-world problems. Being a qualified auditor in ISO system implementation, he plays a vital role in the improvement and implementation of quality systems in an organization. He is a lifetime member of the Indian Society of Technical Education, the Computer Society of India, and INTACH-New Delhi.

He holds the merit of being the Data Analytics Chair for the IEEE-sponsored International Conference on Cognitive Computing on 3/3/2015 at J.S.S. Academy of Technical Education, New Delhi.

He has demonstrated abilities in publishing research articles in the Scopus/Web of Science-indexed International Journals of Inder science, John Wiley, and other reputed publications. Also serves as an Editor in Chief, International Journal of Arts and Science, Shanlax Publications, Madurai.

What is your favourite memory from your career?

 

My favourite memory at work is being instrumental in the design and digital reconstruction of India’s Cultural Heritage Tourism Product and publishing a book entitled "Madurai’s Ancient Spice Route" in association with INTACH, New Delhi.
