I am Prof. Dr. Alok Satsangi, currently serving as the Director of the NSHM Knowledge Campus in Durgapur. With a passion for education and a commitment to nurturing future leaders, I have dedicated my career to fostering academic excellence and holistic development.


My educational journey began with an MBA with a specialisation in marketing and HR, an MPhil in disaster management, a PGDDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Disaster Management), and a PhD in stress management.


With a strong academic background and years of experience in the field of education, I have had the privilege of guiding and mentoring students towards their academic and professional aspirations. My philosophy revolves around creating an engaging and innovative learning environment that goes beyond textbooks, encouraging critical thinking, creativity, and practical application of knowledge.


At NSHM Knowledge Campus, we are not just an institution; we are a community that values curiosity, diversity, and collaboration. Our goal is to equip students with not only academic prowess but also the skills and qualities necessary to thrive in an ever-evolving world.

Work experience


I have a rich experience of 20 years as I have worked in all facets of the administration and governance of a college, right from admissions to placement, teaching, training, and mentoring to major event hosting like the HR Summit and national and international conferences.


I have led the academics and operations of several institutions and coordinated with all departments not just for successful day-to-day operations of the institute but also for meeting growth and profitability goals through the proper management of resources in my numerous roles of distinction as, Vice President of Corporate Relations & Marketing and Associate Professor at NIILM School of Business, New Delhi, as Associate Director, Delhi Business School, Registrar with NIILM University, Haryana, Campus Head with Indraprastha College of Advanced Studies (IPCAS), New Delhi, Director at St. Catherine Institute of Management & Technology, New Delhi, Director with Asian School of Media Studies, Noida and currently, I am Working as the Director of NSHM Knowledge Campus, Durgapur.

Being a successful college administrator requires a combination of administrative, leadership, interpersonal, and educational skills. Here are some skills that have contributed to my success: Leadership, strategic thinking, strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, financial management, relationship building, educational expertise, change management, team management, conflict resolution, data analysis, adaptability, crisis management, networking, visionary thinking, and ethical leadership—a blend of these skills along with my personal experiences and expertise.
