My name is Purna Prasad Arcot, and I'd like to take a moment to introduce myself to all of you. With the blessing of God and my parents, I have completed 26+ years in the field of Management Education and Training. I am currently working as a Director of CMR University, Bangalore. I'm an individual driven by curiosity and a deep passion for learning and sharing knowledge. I hold a background in various fields, including science, technology and management. My academic and professional experiences have allowed me to explore diverse subjects, and I find joy in connecting the dots between seemingly unrelated topics. Beyond my role as a source of information, I'm also here to engage in creative writing, offer suggestions, and assist the needy fraternity. I believe that ARC (Academic, Research and Consultancy) is the apt model for teaching professional to sustain. Research is the only way survive in these dynamic systems. World is changing so fast in Technology front and to manage we need to produce more technocrats. My job is to motivate and spread positive thinking to embrace dynamics of market with confidence and accuracy.

I have three facets of life. Professional, Social and Personal. Optimal allocation of time and energy will give you a balanced life.

I started my teaching career in 1998 and never looked back. Initially I faced lots of challenges because of me coming from tier two city and to manage competition in Tier 1 cities was a herculean task. I saw more rejections in the initial days and worked on the basics. I thought setback is an opportunity to comeback. Focused on Hard work and never compromised on quality. I need to thank my critics for challenging me all the times. I learnt one thing in this journey, professionalism is very important and we need to refine our thoughts and procedures to get quality deliverables. I also believe in continuous improvement and journey of perfection never ends.

I have published in journals of repute also published book chapters, newspapers and received accolades from the stakeholders. Actively participated in conferences of national and international repute to learn new things in the area of research. Developed four patents to give back to the society. My publication helped the government to alter the process of question paper preparation to reduce leakages in 12^th standard Karnataka PU Board exams. I am guiding research scholars to achieve their research journey from reputed universities for the PhD programs.

My approach for students mentoring is always look at how to solve problems of the society in optimal way by using technology and management. Innovation and Sustainability will drive economies of the future. India is respected for its growth and innovations. We are in the right time frame to conquer the future. It is the right time for youngsters which they should not miss.

I motivate students to give back to society and show their leadership in all the activities they do. I encourage them in participating social service activities to give back to the society by conducting blood donation camps, helping needy people with knowledge and other resources. Conducted waste management and swachbharath abhiyan to join hands with Government initiatives.
