He is a founding member of The Holomedicine Association (Belgium), which seeks to revolutionise healthcare by bridging the gap between traditional and modern medical practices. He is the founder of Vatsalya Oral Health Foundation, a non-profit organization that aims to provide better oral health to underprivileged people.

He has founded the “League of Dentists “with a vision to transform dental graduates to high performing ethical professionals by imparting “Human Skills “which to him is the basic foundation for any human interaction and service.

Dr. Srivats serves as a clinical director for Special Olympics International (USA) and he is a Fr. Council Member of the International Association for Disability and Oral Health (USA), advocating for better healthcare services for people with disabilities.

Additionally, he is a founding committee member of The Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health (UK) in India, which provides mental health services to young people. I have always been passionate about being a continuous learner and using my knowledge to contribute to the betterment of oral health and overall health of the communities I serve.

This passion led me to travel far and wide across the globe where I was able to meet very highly accomplished oral health professionals and exchange thoughts and ideas. The idea to make a positive difference to the country I was born pulled me back to India.

I started teaching concepts that I had gathered over years with my globetrotting and started a practice to enhance the quality of knowledge, service and care delivery of the population I started serving.

Soon this led to establishing a chain of internationally recognised top notch dental centres across Bangalore, which included the world’s first theme park dental centre for kids called “ Dento Jungle “ .

My undying passion to ensure young dentists grow and thrive led to the establishment of an innovation and incubation centre for oral health.

Vatsalya Oral Health Foundation was established by me to server the underserved population and it led to the establishment of the world’s largest free dental clinic, and provision of oral health services to the remotest parts of our population through our outreach initiatives.

Caring for persons with disabilities has always been the focus and my speciality in treating persons with special needs allowed me to provide home service, in patient care and clinic based care for those in need.

I established the first 24/7 oral health emergency services which has been one of the most satisfying initiatives.

I believe having potential is not equal to using that potential and this to me is the biggest gap and we never find mentors who are willing to identify our potential and help us use it to the best degree. We all understand that our learning at dental schools can be limited because it may not expose us to real life practice scenarios due to the limitations of a dental school environment. We, established “The League Of Dentists” and have translated our combined 35 years of learnings, struggles and success into high impact customised programmes that will make the students learning not just practical and real, but will surely make them practise ready in the shortest span of time.

There have been many global and national events where I have been an invited speaker but something that’s very memorable to me is when I was an invited to Sweden as a Keynote speaker in a symposium on Oral Health and Disability - a global perspective where I spoke alongside with the WHO chief and The Chief of Federation Dental International which to me has been a very proud moment as I was able to bring out the perspectives from India on disabilities on a world stage.

• Recipient of the International Association of Dental Research (IADR) - Regional Development Award for my Workshop on Oral Health Assessment in India: An Initiative for Planning - 2007

• Vocational Award for service to Humanity - Rotary International 

• Developing a digital educational application for health professionals.

• Set up the first-of-its kind Innovation and Incubation Centre for dentistry in the country to train and nurture path-breaking ideas and innovations amongst young dental professionals.

• Set up a dental centre exclusively for cancer patients at the HCG Comprehensive Cancer Care Hospital, Bangalore, Asia’s leading cancer hospital.

• Set up the country’s first unique theme-park based child friendly clinic spread over 8,000 sq.ft, a disruptive innovation in pediatric oral care.

• Successfully set up and managed one of the world’s largest free dental centres at T. Begur village, on the outskirts of Bangalore, delivering oral health care to the deprived sections of the society.
