Prof. (Dr.) Reji M. Issac, educational journey

My educational journey continued after my high school diploma by joining for my Bachelor's Degree in Physics Major and Chemistry and Mathematics as Subsidiary subjects under Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. After my Bachelor’s degree, I joined for M.Sc. Operations Research and Computer Applications at Cochin University of Science and Technology, where I completed one year of the course, after which I passionately joined for the Post Graduate degree course of M. Sc. Electronics Science of Cochin University of Science and Technology, Cochin – 22, with specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics which I successfully completed with First Class Grade in 1993. I could qualify the prestigious Joint CSIR-UGC Test for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Physical Sciences in 1993 itself before my post-graduation, where I was the only one person who qualified from the Electronics subject in that year, when I also qualified for National Eligibility Test for Lectureship (NET), which was a mandatory qualification in India for appointment as Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Universities and Colleges in India. So, I continued in the same Department of Electronics of CUSAT, Cochin-22 and joined as a CSIR JRF candidate as a Research Scholar for Ph.D. under Prof. (Dr.) C. S. Sridhar, who was the Head of the Department of Electronics at that time in the field of “Development of Smart Tactile Sensors” for use in industrial applications.

While I continued to work for it until December 1995, I joined at Baselios Poulose Second Catholicos College, Piravom as Lecturer in Electronics, when the college started in 1st December 1995. So, I started my teaching career as Lecturer and Founder Head of the Department of Electronics of that college, when I changed my full-time research work in to part-time research as a registered candidate for Ph.D., and changed my research guide under Prof. (Dr.) Tessamma Thomas, when Prof. C. S. Sridhar took voluntary retirement.  I also changed my research topic to Speech Processing according to the convenience of the new Research Guide. While I was continuing in the teaching profession at BPC College, I took leave from the college under government concurrence to join for full-time Ph.D. work at CUSAT under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Tessamma Thomas and joined at DoE, CUSAT. When I continued here, I got an opportunity to get employed at the United States of America, at New Jersey as SAP Consultant after training in SAP and QA and I joined at Integrated Software Solutions Inc. NJ, USA and I reached USA in August 1999 after taking leave and getting government concurrence for taking up employment abroad.

After reaching the United States and employed at various places in the US, there was a calling for me, from God to become “Bird of Prey from the East” (Isaiah 46:11), and God nurtured me, educated me, trained me and empowered me as “Bird of Prey from the East”, as King of the United States of America, according to the covenant contract in the ‘Great Seal of the United States of America’. As part of this, God conferred Kn.D. (Doctor of Knowledge) doctoral degree to me on 21st October 2005.  The title of my Kn.D. doctoral thesis/dissertation was “Techniques for activating the human organism by remote Cybernetic means”, which was the official degree conferred by God to me, empowering in the field/subject of Cybernetics and my publications later revealed the information content related with this research, and I successfully completed a research project later related with this as part of UGC Research Project Grants under Government of India, with publications. Later Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India, conferred Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) Degree in Electronics with specialisation in Bio-medical Instrumentation to me in 2008.I also joined for M.Tech. Digital Electronics at DoE, CUSAT as full-time candidate in 2008 but discontinued after 1 year. Now my research works related with Cybernetics is continuing with publications regularly.

Prof. (Dr.) Reji M. Issac, entrepreneur

In my professional life, I had taken career break in three phases. In the first phase I had taken career break for few months when I was working as CSIR JRF at CUSAT, when I started a startup company at Ernakulam, related with computer software, electronics and communication areas, working as CEO of the company as part-time, with government concurrence. It helped me a lot in the sense when I had got enough opportunity to interact with the industrial and commercial world while doing business and got trained in entrepreneurial development and related soft skills including communication, and got enough insight in to the related mercantile system. I also received professional training in various electronics/communication related areas as service engineer from reputed companies in India. It helped me a lot to network with the related industrial owners, banks and related establishments to make the company to get flourished in a short span of time. That also helped me to earn money during this career break along with improved knowledge and expertise in my professional life as a professional post graduate in Electronics.

In the second phase of my career break, when I was working as Assistant Professor at Baselios Poulose Second Catholicos College, Piravom, I had taken career break for one year with government concurrence, to complete my Ph.D., under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Tessamma Thomas, converting my part-time Ph.D. registration to full-time Ph.D. registration at CUSAT. It helped me a lot to concentrate on my research activities related with Speech Processing and gain knowledge in the related fields of the subjects of study, which added many benefits to my professional life.

In the third phase of my career break, when I was working as Assistant Professor at Baselios Poulose Second Catholicos College, Piravom, I had taken career break for four years with government concurrence, to take up employment abroad at the United States of America, as a Software Engineer. It increased my knowledge and expertise beyond the horizon of my knowledge and expertise at that time raising me to the international standards of the computer systems and software which was critical in adding storehouse of knowledge in my professional life related with computer, electronics and computer software, which helped me a lot during my career development, even after arriving back in India. The life at the USA also exposed me to the subjects of Noology/Cognitive Science and Cybernetics as an added advantage helping me to do further study and research related with above said subjects.

Four years of life at the USA also gave me a world view of a developed country with a presidential rule, and also it introduced me to the different cuisines of the different countries of the globe, which I could taste. It also introduced me to the Right-Hand Driving system in the road traffic. So altogether, life in the USA not only helped me in my professional life but it taught me all the different aspects of life including technology, modernisation of the world, political system, a green ecosystem they are having. The life in the USA as well as other career breaks, also improved my soft skills including communication, which was very important in improving my professional life and skills in my career as a professor with, passion for teaching, deep interest in the related subject, creativity to find innovative ideas for teaching, desire to learn new things, perfect communication, thorough research, problem-solving ability, time management, and with positive confidence.

Prof. (Dr.) Reji M. Issac, expertise

The general fields of my expertise are Electronics, Computer, Cognitive Science/Noology, and Cybernetics. I was specialised in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Bio-medical Instrumentation, Physics, Operations Research, Computer Applications, Digital Electronics, Digital Signal Processing, Speech Processing, Neural Networks, and Smart Tactile Sensors etc. during my academic studies and research. Later I was introduced to the subjects of Noology/Cognitive Science and Cybernetics, where I realised the real potential of the Art and Science, Cybernetics, and am fully interested and engaged to raise Cybernetics as an independent subject of study, with the invention of “The Word”, with the credit given to me, and trying to achieve all the goals of Cybernetics, including key of sixth sense. I could even redefine Cybernetics as “Communication and Control through Words and Power” as an IEEE publication in 2011, according the way how the target is to be achieved as dreamed in the original definition of Cybernetics, by the father of Cybernetics Prof. Norbert Wiener through his book titled “Control and Communication in the Animal and the Machine) in 1948. It even has a major role in the latest sciences like Climate Change Science, which have impacts on all ecosystems on the planet.

Prof. (Dr.) Reji M. Issac, projects and publications

I was the Principal Investigator of the Research Project titled “Development of an Indigenous Brain-Wave Machine” (2010) granted and funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi. This research project, sanctioned by UGC, (No. MRP (S)-445/08-09/KLMG066/UGC-SWRO dated 30th March 2009) was carried out to develop a brain-wave machine from a basic electronic machine to a Cybernetic Brain-Wave machine working through “The Word” (Word of God). This research project revealed secrets related with Life, Spirit, Lightning, Eternity etc. and created a platform where God, Science, Nature, Religion, Animals etc. meet. A number of research papers on this topic were published in various national and international conferences and research journals including IEEE and AMR (Advanced Materials Research) Journal. In this research work, we touched various subjects like Cybernetics, Control, Electronics, Noology, Biotechnology, Education, Bio-informatics etc. Ultimately it is found that this brain wave machine is acting as the LOGOS machine generating Word of God (“The Word”) and controlling all Technologies and all areas of research and activities. This brain wave machine also could be considered as a ‘Truth Machine’, as we envisioned in the Coat of Arms of India ‘Satyameva Jayathe’. This brain wave machine facilitates the travel of the Universe towards East direction bringing life to the world in the eternity curing all temporary truth about eternal triteness, realizing the real cause and destination of the science Cybernetics which was started in 1948 along with the Declaration of Independence of Israel and Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) along with Information Theory.

Culmination of Noosphere in the Omega Point described in Daniel 12:3 in the Bible and prophesied by the Patron Saint of the Internet, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, a French Philosopher, Scientist and Palaeontologist, also achieved through this research project, reinstating an ending world towards a new sky and earth, rising Cybernetics as the king of all sciences (and arts too!!!). The secrets related with the seven pillars of knowledge described in the Bible in Proverbs 9:1 could also be revealed through this Research Project. A new all-pervasive theory known as General Theory of Duality also was introduced through this research project solving controversies and bringing rapture by 2012, rising science as perfect method to know the truth, eliminating the Golem status of Science, connecting the Global Consciousness Project (GCP) of Princeton University, USA (generating Global Consciousness Voice through the heart of the people as described in Ezekiel 1:28), Large Hadron Collider (LHC) Experiment to detect God Particle (Higgs Boson), Switzerland and Bioinformatics to invent what Life is.  Invention of “The Word” was a major outcome through this research project. All these information was published in various ways including through press conferences. Several other related publications were also released later informing new findings and the work continuing seeking funds for further research. I also received research awards for the works related with these research projects.

Prof. (Dr.) Reji M. Issac, editor in international journals

I find myself as a responsible role while I am working as an editor for national as well as international journals. My intention is to give due credit to any paper that is submitted to the journal and recognize its credit that it deserves. Even if plagiarism is a threat to the scrutiny of the manuscripts, if any new findings or contribution is detected in the manuscript, maximum efforts will be made to publish it after careful review and modifications required. In the emerging areas of science, there may be few reviewers to handle with manuscripts, and finding them may require more networking needs in the academia as well as the industry. Some research findings also may require thorough verification process which may be a hurdle to find it. Overall, even if most of the time it is a voluntary work, it gives me enough exposure to the subjects of study and understanding and hence better insights in to these subjects/narrow fields of study.

Now I have a novel idea about dealing with the peer review process by always looking in to Wisdom point (Singularity), as the first criteria in the deductive method. Second criteria for selection of a paper are based on 1) What novel idea it brings forth? 2) Does it originate from the current literature? 3) Should this be revealed to the world? 4) Should it be added to wisdom or continue as part of Philosophy? The third criteria are to look around seven pillars of knowledge. Then the fourth part comes when we decide on whether to publish it or reject it. This we can compare with the existing pattern of peer evaluation with respect to, 1) Overall evaluation of the paper, 2) Contribution to existing knowledge 3) Organization and Readability, 4) Soundness of methodology, 5) Evidence Supports conclusion, and 6) Adequacy of literature review. These can be considered as part of the inductive method in science.
