Journey that led a Naval officer to Scientist and Inventor

 

As an innovation scientist, I have invented & executed innovative Projects in Quasi-quantum photosynthesis to solve the world water crisis, producing water from air, as well as in systemic reclamation-remediation of degraded land for agriculture.

 

Collaborating with global agricultural bodies, we have introduced innovative farming techniques that not only boost yield but also ensure soil health and longevity. Being an inventor of several future-proof agri-products, including biostimulants, liquid fertilisers, soil rejuvenators, enzymes, and a range of products for hydroponics, aeroponics, and aquaponics, I was able to contribute in a way to societal transformation.

With a career spanning two decades in the Indian Navy, I have executed scores of critical projects in quantum science technologies, strategic communication, aviation, e-learning, intranets, satellite technology, encryption, technological sciences, and engineering. I have restructured infrastructure & network security policies for Tri-Services & NSA under the Prime Minister of India and was commended at the highest echelons by the Government of India & lauded for Devotion to Duty.

Technological expertise

 

I am a developer and proponent of quantum technologies. I am also a strong advocate for the use of Quantum computers to simulate the behaviour of complex climate systems with unprecedented accuracy.

 

My diverse CSR initiatives span from education and healthcare to environmental conservation. Developed an innovative approach to carbon metrics, offering a roadmap for businesses globally and aligning with the pressing sustainability objectives of our era. Being a Technological Scientist with over three decades of leadership experience, I was able to deliver transformative outcomes leveraging technology and mentoring in strategy and operations, including marketing and branding, while focusing on agility, transforming businesses digitally, and building a culture of innovation and collaboration. Over time, we developed expertise in integrating digital technologies and innovative strategies into the business to improve operational efficiency, enhance customer experiences, and adapt to the evolving market landscape.

With this enriched experience, I led organisations through successful processes of redesign, business transformation, new technology implementation, digital transformation, financial security, think tech, including healthcare, design tech, enterprise risk management, risk assessment, strategic design, immersive tech, cryptocurrency, public safety, and management policy shifts with flexibility. My core distinction includes in AI-ML, Blockchain and Cloud Offerings, including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, GRC, and Threat Incident Response.

Indian Navy (1991-2012)

• Architected & implemented frameworks, design, & evolution of an e-learning training system across platforms in the Indian Navy in 2004. This reduced the Time on Task (ToT) for training by over 65%.
• Designed a voice scrambler for secure communications in 1999. This saved my employer a cost savings of over 78% when compared to procuring a more expensive Punjab Wireless communication sets.
• Implemented the concept of Intranets Enterprise wide in 1998. This enabled my Organisation Enterprise wide to develop e-Literacy and save over $1.25 million in transportation costs in one FY.
• Undertook an audit & identified enterprise-wide vulnerabilities in a leading banking chain in India in 1999. This enabled a large banking chain to identify gaping security holes and save from potentially going bankrupt.

 

Technopilot (2012-2018)

 

I have designed several technologies in the quantum sciences to enable cost savings in the agricultural and manufacturing industries and improve health & wellness. Grew revenue by 220% and improved employee satisfaction for clients.

 

Virenxia (2018-2023)

 

Invented and executed innovative projects in:

• Quasi-quantum photosynthesis in the endeavour to solve the world water problem, which can produce water from the air, costing just one cent per litre, and lowest in the world.
• Systemic reclamation—remediation of degraded land for agriculture—can produce an opportunity cost of generating over 75,000 USD from one acre of land, which otherwise would have been zero.
• Healthcare – aided in the proliferation of Gelious 711D, an LLLT device that can treat over a hundred diseases and ten patients at the same time. This will reduce healthcare costs by over 65%.
• Roads - designed a Road Enzyme that can reduce road manufacturing costs by over 37% as well as enable long-lasting roads not affected by rain or heavy vehicle movement.
• AgTech – Formulated and manufactured products like Asaava & Somrith (organic biostimulants), which can reduce chemical fertilisers by 50%, increase yield by over 30%, and reduce pest protection product needs by over 20%. Formulated liquid organic fertilisers Arsana, Itwara, and Meeroha, which need significantly lower nutrient loading compared to solid fertilisers for the same nutrient budgeting; soil rejuvenator which reduces water requirements by over 40% and enables the transition of chemical agriculture land to organic cultivation, in under 10 months, compared to over 3 years conventionally; Bioponics organic products for hydroponics, aeroponics, and aquaponics, which are the first in the world, are a boon for cultivation for vertical farming and for space applications.
• Developed processes for converting waste to energy and the enzymes that can compost any waste (poultry waste, city waste, agri-waste, faecal waste) completely in 7–12 days compared to 60–90 days conventionally.
• The development of the world’s first portable instant test and monitoring system for agriculture which is enabling cost savings of over 87% for farmers each season.
• Developed and coded comprehensive AI-ML engines for drone development and used for weather prediction for UNICEF, with the work available publicly on GitHub.
• Developed frameworks for smart farming and digital agriculture, IIoT, farm agri inputs design.
• Development of Rural Reboot, an Eco-Smart Habitat for Rural India, which is a potential cost-saver of over 15 million USD per village.
