I am Dr. S. Praveen Chakkravarthy, an experienced teacher
specializing in Electronics and Communication Engineering. My expertise lies in
imparting knowledge and fostering a deep understanding of the principles and
applications within this dynamic field.
I have a strong academic background with a focus on
research in various aspects of electronics and communication. My commitment to
staying abreast of the latest advancements in technology allows me to bring
cutting-edge knowledge to the classroom, providing students with a
comprehensive and up-to-date education.
Throughout my teaching career, I have been dedicated to creating an engaging and interactive learning environment. I believe in not only transmitting theoretical knowledge but also emphasizing practical applications, encouraging students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
My research contributions encompass areas such as wireless communications and Internet of Things (IoT). I have actively participated in projects that contribute to the sustainable development goals (SDGs). My work has been recognized through a good number of patents and publications in reputable journals and presentations at conferences.
In the classroom, I strive to inspire a passion for learning and a curiosity for exploring the intricacies of electronics and communication engineering. I am committed to fostering the intellectual growth of my students and preparing them for successful careers in this rapidly evolving field.
Educational Qualifications
I’ve pursued my Bachelors in Electronics and Communication
Engineering and Masters in Communication systems, following this, I have
pursued Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) with specialization in Wireless
Communication.
About Professional Journey
I completed my Ph.D. in wireless communication and I have
been working in various level of academic, research and administration for more
than 18 years.
Projects
With the passion and perseverance for applied research, I
was part of various projects as a mentor. My strong desire to solve the
real-world problems has driven me to the projects such as Farm to Fork (IoT -
IoT Data Analytics – AI), IoT based Improvement of Shelf Life of Fruits and
Vegetables (IoT - AI - IoT Data Analytics- Block Chain-Smart Cold Storage),
Smart Health Care (IoT - AI-LoRa WAN - Smart Wearables - Tribal India -
Maternal Mortality Rate), Smart Metering Infrastructure For Conventional Energy
Meters (Energy-LoRa WAN), Smart Precision Farming (Precision Farming – LoRa
WAN), Smart Weather Station For Smart Cities (IoT -Environment - AI- Block
Chain- IoT Data Analytics). Each project aims to bring out a novel solution to
an existing problem, contributing to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

government, Industry and Academia.

Career Milestones
I was born in a small village Elur, in Coimbatore District,
in a very humble agricultural family. Since my early days were more challenging
but it has provided me a lot of experience to balance and stay strong in the
life. My family members were highly motivated and inculcated out of box
thinking in my early days that provided a pathway for me to achieve some
milestones that include my Doctorate Degree, developing more real time products
to enhance quality of rural life in India & Published 8 patents in the year
2023. I have been recognized with promotions and encouragements by the
institutes wherever I have worked till now.
