I always choose to identify myself to the audience as an author, entrepreneurial educator, career counsellor, and then as a researcher for social reformation, as well as an expert-advisor for the worldwide organizations with which I am currently associated.

Educational and Professional Background

I obtained a PhD in ICT entrepreneurship from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune and a Babson Research Fellowship (2021). I have been working in education, training, and research for over 40 years. I worked at Satara Polytechnic, MITCON and Symbiosis International University. I am from Satara, the capital city of Shrimant Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. My areas of expertise include entrepreneurship education, technological entrepreneurship, experiential and experimental education, science communication, and career counselling. In the past and today, I have worked specifically to uplift marginalized communities for better and more sustainable livelihoods in rural and slum areas.

Exploring the Future - Research Inventions

During my research journey, I invented TAILOR-C Model of EE and Model of Techno-entrepreneurship. It is replicated at national and international level with the help of DST, TREC-STEP, EDII, UNDP, UNESCO and EU-India GENIE projects. Research for social transformation is my passion and hence I did the same over few decades in rural areas.

About the VidyaDeep Foundation

I founded VidyaDeep foundation in 2004 for empowerment of rural youths through micro-enterprise movement. Also, I am the founder member of two Satara based credit cooperative societies, now working innovatively in micro-credit lending. VidyaDeep is now completing 20 years and hence started to work further in Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) with Computational Thinkers for Action Research. VidyaDeep is also planning to work in Open Distance Learning with Massive Online Open Course for skill-based modules with the team of international experts and Google Educator Groups.

National and International Project Highlights

I worked on 16 projects for UNESCO, UNDP, the European Union, and others. I am outlining GCED (Global Citizenship Education) modules that combine entrepreneurship education with the scientific method of computational thinking. One of my pedagogical development projects will involve the use of Google products for a hybrid model of experimental learning. This would be translational research for the growth of the community as a whole in terms of social inclusion using policy research findings. I visited the UK as part of the CASTME-Asia faculty exchange program, as well as the United States, Singapore, and Thailand for various joint initiatives.

Achievements and Honours

I received number of national awards. UP Govt. National Award of ISTE New Delhi, Best Entrepreneur educator award of CSE-NITIE, Mumbai, Swami Vivekanand Award of Vivek Kranti Dal are few of them.
