My name is Saif Haider Rizvi, and I am a serial entrepreneur
based out of Kuala Lumpur now and managing businesses in SEA and ME. My
expertise is in the field of technology. Our philosophy is to enable industries
and business functions to operate efficiently, inducing sustainability and enabling
them to make critical business decisions based on real insights with the help
of AI and ML.

Olivestouch started with a humble beginning based on a simple concept that may work for anyone, and that was “serve locally." Every region has its own complexity and needs that need to be catered to in order to have successful outcomes. Olivestouch did exactly this to have a strong foot on the ground here in Malaysia, where it all started. Over the last nine years of its existence, it has grown to a total strength of 33+ resources as we speak. We are the largest local partner of one of the biggest technology giants, "Oracle,” and we help the public sector, government-linked companies, and MNCs in their digital transformation journeys by providing the right mindset and outcome-based consulting services.
Could you describe the services you offer?
In particular, we help customers achieve efficiency and impacts
based on the right insights using technology. This includes planning,
consultation, implementation, and support that we help our customers with.
What inspired you to start Olivestouch Technologies Sdn. Bhd.?
It's always the gap in the market that people of interest would
see, and that’s where we started. My business partner, Mr. Irfan, and I
literally put our plan into action after seeing the business opportunity and
the gap. Although we both are not from Malaysia and we are foreigners, we
worked hard and strategically planned our moves to achieve what we have today.
What are your roles and responsibilities as the Founder &
CEO of Olivestouch Technologies Sdn. Bhd.?
Being the founder of the company, I carry a lot of pressure,
responsibility, and rights that help shape the growth and quality standards of
our services. We started and, until today, together with my business partners,
managed to run the operations without any outside support. What we fortunately
have is a team that has helped us in many ways to achieve our dreams without
relying on any investors or outside support. We cannot thank enough our
customers, who believed in us on day 1 and, until now, have in a way shaped our
journey and betterment.
Could you share a pivotal moment in the company's history that
significantly impacted its direction or growth?
Our IT consulting industry is very dynamic in nature, and each
day or month is different, which brings challenges that are quite unique. We
are still on the journey of improving the efficiency of our customers and doing
business smartly. Every year, we learn about new opportunities within our
domain, and we come across new challenges that we overcome. We do plan a lot of
stuff, but in real-life scenarios, those plans need to be changed or tweaked.
To name one of them, a change in the industry from capital expenditure to an
operational expenditure mindset meant we had to revisit our costing models and
resource allocation for achieving internal efficiency.
What is the best piece of advice you have received throughout
your entrepreneurial journey?
“Success is right around the corner when you are at your lowest,
so don’t give up." Keep pursuing your dreams, and I have my own quote to
share here that gives a clear message to all about what our approach should be
in life.
“Dream, dream, dream, as you never know when your dreams come
true.”
