Sefar India, a 100%
subsidiary of Sefar AG, Switzerland, is the leading manufacturer of precision
fabrics from monofilaments &multifilament. Sefar is a solution
provider for various segments like Process Filtration including
Chemicals, Food, Pharmaceuticals, Mining and Refining, Milling, and
Environmental Filter Components including Automotive, Medical,
Acoustics, Appliances, Aerospace and Screen Printing including Graphics,
Glass, Electronics, Plastics, Textiles, and Ceramics. Sefar India Pvt. Ltd. was
incorporated in 2005, having its Corporate Office and our state-of-the-art
factory at Thane equipped with the latest machinery and Sefar’s manufacturing
technology.

Our vision is to double digit growth Sales in the next 3 years through
aggressive Marketing and Sales Promotion, Product Expansion & Innovation,
Improving customer experience, Expanding and Focusing on automation to optimize
the plant capacity. This enables us to deliver top quality, maintain
high levels of delivery reliability and cut costs.

Founding and early years:
The idea of forming Sefar India came into reality in July 2005, and Sefar
started operations from Thane, from a small unit to a huge fabrication plant.
Sefar India continued the progressive journey successfully. Growing a small
team into a bigger, dedicated team with various sales offices in different
zones, the journey has always been progressive and will continue.
Sefar India has a Corporate
Office and the state-of-the-art factory at Thane. Sefar India is equipped with
the latest world-class CNC machines and the latest manufacturing technology
using best practices. We have a fabrication facility for Medical, Pharma/White
room facilities. It has a packaging and logistics team with fast response and
efficient technical team support. The factory location is a strategic location
situated near a big logistics hub, the airport, and the seaport of Mumbai,
minimizing inland transportation costs and serving all customers within India
and neighboring countries.

For the filtration segment in manufacturing, it means not only modernizing
production but also delivering enhanced value to customers and staying
competitive in a rapidly evolving market.

We have taken various initiatives to strengthen the team, with a special Talent
Management process of identifying and encouraging the talents to understand
their expertise and potential and map the employees' performance &
potential, which will help identify the gaps and training needs for them.
Current Leadership
Introduction and Strategic Vision: Mr. Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Managing Director
Sefar India and Head Sales South Asia, has an MBA, Bachelor of Engineering,
& Diploma in Business Management. Having work experience of more than 29
years and rich experience in Sales, Operations, Finance, Projects, JV’s, TA,
& set-up of various Green Field plants to his credit. His vision is to
adhere company policy with organizational goals & guidelines, and his
strategies are compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, &
standards. He is a leader with a passion for increasing top-line &
bottom-line growth and has been running numerable new and innovative ideas for
improvements and team synergy. His skills extend beyond crisis management and
conflict mediation. He has immense Industry knowledge and expertise in managing Finance
& Legal, Regulatory and Governance. With special focus on people management
and New Business development. He has dynamic personality with proactive mindset
and excellent communication skills.
Sefar India Products and
Services
We manufacture customized
fabricated products such as Centrifuges, Horizontal Vacuum Filter Belts,
Coolant Belts, Filter Press Cloth, Drum Filter Cloth, Nutsche Filter Cloth,
Rotary Disc Sector bags, Rotary Drum Filter cloth, Leaf Filters, Plan sifters, Connector
Sleeves, Vibro and Turbo Sifters, Milling Accessories, etc. using
Mono-filament, Double Layer Weave as well as Multi-Filament fabrics available
in various MOCs such as PP, polyester, PTFE, PVDF, as well as PEEK. We also
manufacture precision filter fabric made primarily from Nylon, PET, PP, PTFE,
and PEEK polymers. Additionally, we manufacture customized filter components
like tube cuts, pleated elements, filter discs, filter ribbons, etc. Our parent
company, Sefar Worldwide, has its own weaving plants in Sighisoara, Romania,
and has recently expanded its weaving plant in Kabinburi, Thailand. We maintain
our brand consistency, offer good-quality products, and add value; we are total
solution providers, as our approach to our customers with the best design,
world-class quality, and controlled processes differentiates us from our
