Commander (Dr.) Sudhir Salunkhe was commissioned in the Flying (Pilots) Branch
in 1986. He was posted to the National Defence Academy (NDA) in 1993, during
which he pursued and completed his MBA from Pune University. In December 2008,
he took premature retirement from the Indian Air Force and joined the Global
Education Trust's Institute for Future Education, Entrepreneurship, and
Leadership in 2008. He was responsible for supervising and monitoring the
Infrastructure Development for the business school, and as Dean, he contributed
towards the overall Development and discipline of students. He moved on from
iFEEL in January 2023 after 14 years of service. He is currently managing his
own venture, GenX2Alpha Careers LLP, which focuses on career counselling and
study abroad domains.

Commander (Dr.) Sudhir Salunkhe accumulated 12 years of experience in the
higher educational domain and 2 years as a Divisional Officer, guiding NDA
Cadets, allowing him to deeply interact with young students. He observed that
many youths lacked proper guidance in choosing a suitable career. He excelled
in his own career, qualifying for the Indian Air Force through the UPSC
Combined Defence Services Examination and clearing the competitive Services
Selection Board (SSB) screening, ranking 1st in merit. He earned an MBA in
Personnel from Pune University and later completed his PhD in March 2022 while
serving as Dean of iFEEL. After moving on from iFEEL in 2023, he pursued his
passion for education and enrolled in the Edumilestones Career Counselling Analyst

management, military airbase security management, and security audits for the
Indian Air Force in Gujarat state. He has expertise in compliance and legal
aspects related to land and crime, having managed and led legal cells at
various airbases. Dr. Sudhir Salunkhe has experience in managing public and
non-public funds and has contributed to the process of court martials as a
prosecutor and defending officer, managing five court martials. He has also had
a tenure as an instructor for cadets at the prestigious National Defence Academy.
As a seasoned leader, he has led a team of dedicated professionals in the
education sector at a world-class boutique business school, mentoring 12

in the Indian Air Force in 2004, where he contributed as Head of
Administration, leading his team to achieve first position in the non-flying
category. He also received the Best Squadron at NDA award in 1994, where he
motivated and guided 130 officer cadets to win the Chief's of Staff Banner.
Additionally, he was part of the team that achieved the Best Non-Flying Station
award in 1992, contributing to the base's strategic importance as Head HR.

skills, which have been recognized by the Indian Air Force and National
Defence Academy.
