What are the core areas of expertise that have guided your professional journey and contributions?

At the age of 20, I began my professional career as a Customer Service Executive at 24/7 Customer, where I learnt the fundamentals of providing exceptional customer service and efficiently managing customer demands. Following this, I obtained knowledge & experience working with world-renowned multinational corporations such as IBM, Unisys, and Oracle, primarily in support and service delivery roles.

During this time, I saw a significant difference between working in a corporate environment and the fast-paced world of startups. Eager for a new challenge, I entered the startup ecosystem when an opportunity presented at Myntra.com. My career took a dramatic shift when I joined Myntra as a lead. I got the opportunity to lead various projects, hone my skills in data-driven decision-making, and drive process change. Myntra served as a stepping stone for me into the fast-paced startup culture.

My next opportunity was at Lookup, where I oversaw the Operations Excellence team. This work entailed supervising multiple divisions, generating KPIs, defining metrics, and developing data reporting systems to maintain operational efficiencies.

Over the years, I've contributed to various international startups, working as a consultant for firms like Mozio, Xpower, and OpenPhone.

My primary competencies include leading high-performing teams, developing strategic roadmaps, and managing stakeholders to align goals and deliver results. My priority has always been to add value, whether by streamlining operations or promoting effective, community-oriented initiatives.

What do you consider the most important qualities for an entrepreneur to possess?

I believe that resilience is the cornerstone of entrepreneurship; my father taught me that you need to be able to deal with uncertainty and failure.

Adaptability is equally vital because customer needs and marketplaces are constantly changing. When necessary, you must be ready to alter your direction.

Another crucial quality is having a clear vision and objective. Even when the day-to-day challenges seem insurmountable, it keeps you grounded and focused on your long-term goals. Finally, humility and the ability to listen to your team, mentors, customers & clients can have a big impact on your journey.

What are your key skills and specializations, and what's a notable accomplishment that stands out in your professional journey?

Over the years, I’ve developed a broad range of skills and specializations that have shaped my professional journey. These include:

Operations Management and Process Optimization: Finding inefficiencies in systems and putting improvement plans into action are my areas of expertise. Whether it's developing scalable procedures, optimizing workflows, or setting up KPIs and metrics, my goal has always been to produce quantifiable outcomes.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Using data to guide strategy has been a cornerstone of my career. I believe data isn’t just numbers—it’s a story that, when interpreted correctly, can drive meaningful action.

Team Building and Leadership:  I am highly effective at putting together and managing teams. My collaborative leadership style emphasizes giving people the freedom to take charge and give their best effort rather than micro-managing their day to day tasks.

Stakeholder Management: My early experience as a customer service executive played a crucial role in shaping my ability to build strong relationships, manage expectations, and align objectives. It taught me the importance of active listening, clear communication, and empathy when addressing diverse needs. Working under pressure to resolve customer concerns instilled a solution-focused mindset and adaptability, which I’ve carried forward into managing teams and stakeholders. This foundation has been instrumental in fostering trust, driving collaboration, and ensuring successful outcomes in my professional journey.

Startup Ecosystem Expertise: Having worked with multiple startups, I’ve gained experience in setting up core operations from scratch, scaling teams, and navigating the challenges that come with rapid growth.

One of the most notable accomplishments in my professional journey was during my time at Myntra, where I led a project to overhaul their return warehouse operations. I was tasked with solving this issue. Through root cause analysis, extensive data tracking, and introducing new quality-check measures. This achievement required a combination of analytical skills, process improvement strategies, and team collaboration. It was particularly rewarding because it not only improved Myntra’s operational efficiency but also enhanced customer satisfaction and trust in the brand.

Another milestone in my career was during my tenure at Lookup, where I led the Operations Excellence team. My role involved setting up KPIs and metrics across departments, creating a robust data reporting structure, and ensuring teams were aligned with business goals. This experience deepened my understanding of operational scalability and how small, incremental changes can have a significant impact on overall performance.

Each of these accomplishments represents a different facet of my skillset, but they all tie back to a core principle: driving meaningful results by combining data, teamwork, and innovative thinking.

What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs who are just starting out?

My advice would be to concentrate on fixing a problem that you are passionate about—something that truly excites you. Begin small, test your concepts, and be receptive to feedback. Success does not happen quickly; it is the result of constant effort, learning from mistakes, and remaining resilient in the face of adversity.

Surround yourself with a team that understands your vision and beliefs. Entrepreneurship is not a solo road; having the proper people on your side may make a big difference. Finally, do not hesitate to take calculated risks. Every setback is an opportunity for growth and learning, so accept the process and keep moving forward.
