Sajana Binil, Founder, Interactive Learning Solutions

Could you provide an introduction of yourself to our audience?

I am Sajana Binil, the founder of Interactive Learning Solutions, a platform dedicated to empowering mid-career professionals from non-IT backgrounds to transition into fulfilling roles in IT Business Analysis. With over two decades of experience in IT services, I’ve worked with global organizations like Mphasis Software Services and IGate Solutions, where I honed my skills in business analysis, coaching, and program management. In 2021, I started Interactive Learning Solutions, with a mission to help professionals worldwide build successful careers in Business Analysis.

In order to make this mission a success, we partnered up with IIBA(International Institute of Business Analysis) and since then have helped hundreds achieve certifications.

In 2024, I ventured into the coaching space with an intent to address not only skill gaps but also mindset barriers in my students. Today, we also run personal development workshops helping professionals gain clarity and overcome stress, anxiety, fear and self-doubt.

In this wonderful journey, I have had the privilege of being mentored and guided by the Best of the Best in the Industry like Siddharth Rajasekar, Blair Singer, Thaddeus Lawrence, Vikram Dhar, Mitesh Khatri and Alina Menon.

The desire to create meaningful impact inspired me to embark on this entrepreneurial journey. Throughout my corporate career, I saw talented professionals struggling to find their way into roles they were truly passionate about. I wanted to bridge that gap by providing structured, accessible, and practical learning solutions.

My leadership style focuses on growth, both personal and professional. I challenge my team and students to step out of their comfort zones while providing them the support they need to thrive. This blend of empowerment and accountability has been the cornerstone of our success.

At Interactive Learning Solutions, one of our standout achievements is the Project Implementation Mastermind, where students work on real-world scenarios such as conducting gap analyses, designing surveys, and drafting comprehensive requirement documents for industries like healthcare and finance.

We’ve also designed and executed free workshops, like the Requirement Mastery Workshop and the Dream Job Manifestation session, which have been instrumental in building our community of learners and high performers.

My areas of expertise include:

·  Mindset Development: Utilizing NLP and Emotional Intelligence techniques to foster resilience and confidence.

These skills have allowed me to create programs that are both practical and transformational, ensuring our learners are equipped with not just technical skills but also the confidence to excel in their new roles.

How do you stay updated on industry trends, and what advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs looking to start their own ventures?

I stay updated by engaging in continuous learning—whether it’s through attending webinars, networking with industry experts, or staying active in professional communities. Reading books on leadership, mindset, and industry trends also plays a significant role in keeping me informed.

To aspiring entrepreneurs, my advice is simple:

·    Focus on solving a real problem. Your venture should address a specific gap in the market.

·    Invest in personal growth. Entrepreneurship is as much about developing yourself as it is about building your business.

·   Take consistent action. Start small, but stay persistent and open to feedback. Every step, no matter how small, brings you closer to your vision.
