and data within digital marketing fascinated me, as I saw it as a powerful way
for businesses to connect with consumers. Throughout my career, I became
increasingly passionate about understanding and applying digital marketing

could share this passion and guide students who are eager to make their mark in
the dynamic digital marketing industry.
Could you describe some of the key milestones
or achievements in your career and how your teaching philosophy influences your
approach to education?
One of my key accomplishments was driving the development
and accreditation of the Marketing Department at Applied Science Private
University. I led efforts to achieve international accreditations such as
AACSB, IIMP, and CIM, which significantly enhanced the department’s global
standing and ensured its academic programs met the highest standards. I have
also led research initiatives focusing on pay-per-click (PPC) advertising and
measuring the return on investment (ROI) in digital marketing campaigns. My research
work has earned three national research awards and one global research award.
Furthermore, serving as Conference Director for the Digital Transformation and
Digital Marketing Conference allowed me to collaborate with industry experts
and expand my knowledge on emerging trends. These experiences have
significantly shaped my teaching philosophy, which emphasizes the importance of
practical, real-world applications in digital marketing education, ensuring
that students are well-prepared for industry challenges.
How do you manage to balance your professional
responsibilities with your personal life?
Balancing my professional responsibilities with my personal
life requires effective time management. I maintain a flexible schedule that
allows me to dedicate time to academic research, student mentoring, and ongoing
professional development. I also ensure I spend quality time with my family and
engage in activities that promote relaxation and well-being. Proper
organization and effective planning play a key role in maintaining this
balance, ensuring I remain productive while still nurturing my personal life.
How do you stay updated with the latest
developments in digital marketing, and how do you integrate these into your
curriculum?
In today’s rapidly evolving world, new specializations,
particularly in digital fields like digital marketing، data analytics, and
artificial intelligence, are increasingly shaping the way industries function.
These emerging fields offer unparalleled opportunities for innovation, and it
is essential to align academic research with industry needs. By fostering collaboration
between academia and industry, universities can create research that is not
only innovative but also practical and applicable to real-world challenges.
Bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and industry demands enables
professionals to provide solutions that address current issues while
anticipating future needs. This connection also helps students develop skills
that are directly applicable to the job market, ensuring they remain
competitive in an ever-changing workforce.
